Zenpep Pancreatic Enzymes

Available by prescription only, Zenpep® (pancrelipase) is a medication used to increase pancreatic enzymes (digestive enzymes secreted by the pancreas). It is used in people who have a deficiency of these enzymes, which can be caused by cystic fibrosis or certain other conditions.
 
Zenpep contains a mixture of different pancreatic enzymes, which help to digest fats, proteins, and starches. This medication comes in the form of an extended-release capsule, and is usually taken with each meal. It is approved for use in adults, children, and infants.
