Pulmozyme® (
dornase alfa) is not known to interact with any other medications. During clinical studies, Pulmozyme has been used together successfully with other
cystic fibrosis medications, such as:
- Antibiotics, including oral, inhaled, and IV antibiotics
- Enzyme supplements
- Vitamins
- Steroids, including oral and inhaled steroids
- Pain medications
- Bronchodilators (medications to open the airways).
Because no studies have been done specifically to look for Pulmozyme drug interactions, it is possible that there are interactions that are not known at this time. Therefore, you should talk with your pharmacist or healthcare provider about drug interactions that may apply to you.
