Cystic Fibrosis Home > Zenpep Drug Interactions

According to its prescribing information, Zenpep® (pancrelipase) does not have any known drug interactions. However, other references state that pancrelipase medications, such as Zenpep, may potentially decrease the absorption of iron-containing medications or supplements. This is probably of little consequence for most people, although it may be of concern for people taking iron to treat a diagnosed iron deficiency. In such cases, check with your healthcare provider.

Other drug interactions with Zenpep may be identified in the future. Therefore, any time you start or stop a medication, you should talk with your pharmacist or healthcare provider about the possible drug interactions that may apply to you.
