Zenpep® (pancrelipase) is a medication approved to replace certain pancreatic enzymes (digestive enzymes secreted by the pancreas) in people with a deficiency of these enzymes. It is approved for use in people with cystic fibrosis or other conditions that cause pancreatic digestive enzyme deficiencies.
This prescription drug comes as an extended-release capsule that is taken with each meal. Before beginning treatment with Zenpep, tell your healthcare provider if you have any type of bowel problem, gout, or any allergies.
