Ultresa Medication Information

Available by prescription only, Ultresa® (pancrelipase) is a medicine used to treat pancreatic enzyme deficiencies. It is approved for use in people with cystic fibrosis or other conditions that cause these types of deficiencies.
 
This drug comes as an extended-release capsule and is taken with every snack and meal. It is approved for use in adults and children as young as 12 months old. Side effects of this medicine may include headaches, nosebleeds, and a sore throat.
