Pertzye Medication Information

Available by prescription only, Pertzye® (pancrelipase) is a medication used to treat pancreatic enzyme deficiencies. It is approved for use in people who have cystic fibrosis or other conditions that cause these deficiencies.
 
This drug comes as a delayed-release capsule that is taken with every snack and meal. It is approved for use in adults and children as young as 12 months old. Side effects are possible and may include heartburn, diarrhea, and a cough.
